Internships
Internship positions are for persons who are interested in developing clinical skills,
particularly in the practice of family therapy, and are willing to contribute to the overall mission of Blue Door Psychotherapy.
The internship begins with observing therapy sessions with individuals, families, and groups, and participating in support groups and therapy groups, and evolves into conducting private sessions as her/his skills are evaluated to be ready to work with clients.
Requirements for this position include:

Being currently enrolled in a graduate program in Behavioral Health (Family therapy, Professional Counseling, or Social Work) from an accredited university

Having completed all of your clinical course work and initial practicum experience

Hold student membership in AAMFT, ACA, or NASW

Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Power Point
-
Have proficiency in English
